This two-day course will provide information about remote microphone systems (RMS), fitting them, checking them, and assessing their benefit in line with the 2025 national Quality Standards and Good Practice Guidance.

• Fitting options, policies and national guidance: verification and validation of RMS.
• Using RMS with speech processors.
• Extending the benefits of devices - accessible communication in class and online.
• Verification of speech processors with Hearing Instrument Test boxes.
• Validation with speech perception tests.
• Reviewing personal experiences: discussion and feedback sessions
