Creating an Effective Environment for Teacher Professional Learning- ECT Toolkit

Effective teachers are the bedrock of any school or college. It is critical to retain those teachers through embedding effective professional learning right from the start of their careers.

This Short Course- designed for ECT and CPD Coordinators- equips you to design, implement and review your professional development provision by drawing on the principles of our research-evidenced Toolkit. Whilst designed to complement the ITTECF, this Toolkit provides research informed strategies to create an effective professional learning environment for all teachers to thrive.

This 12 hr Short Course is designed to span an academic year and is delivered through a blend of in-person, recorded materials and synchronous online webinars. An optional Impact Showcase at the end of the Short Course offers an opportunity for ECT/CPD Coordinators to explore their outcomes and that of other Coordinators.
