In the context of the debate about what works and why, there is a wide range of benefits to researching your practice. Researching your own teaching can help you find solutions to particular problems arising in your classroom or school, clarify purposes and priorities when introducing change and develop your agency and self-efficacy within your own school and more widely within the profession.

This Short Course in Becoming a Researching Teacher will equip teachers to ask good research questions, design ethical and valid inquiries and know how to effectively apply their findings to make a difference in their practice.

This 6 hr Short Course will blend taught input with practical ‘gap-tasks’ and opportunities to review practice in light of new learning.

Why not couple this CPD with the ERPN Short Course in Unpacking Education Research which equips teachers and leaders to critically assess research findings and evidence from a range of sources.
