This Online CPD module will cover the following topics:

·        Therapeutic relationship skills, ability to engage and communicate, working with difference

·        Stages of Change Model, introduction to Motivational Interviewing, introduction to Wellness Action Recovery Plans, emotional regulation skills, and SMART goals

·         Cultural diversity awareness - cultural competence 

·         Risk assessment, safeguarding & management 

·         Common problems associated with homelessness (including mental health, addictions, relationships, contact with the justice system etc.)

·         Applying engagement skills in different settings (e.g. street medicine, outreach, hostels, supported housing, etc.)
