This training day will provide an introduction to APD in children and adults and an indication of clinical best practice based on current evidence from around the world. The training will provide theoretical background and clinical information, as well as some practical opportunities for both audiologists and rehabilitation professionals.
For audiologists – an opportunity to look at APD specific test materials and how they are administered, as well as the use of Assistive Listening Devices (ALDs),

The Hearing Aid Aptitude Test distance learning programme is designed to meet the needs of suitably qualified Audiology practitioners wishing to apply to register with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Hearing Aid Dispenser (HAD).
